Lessons

One of the lessons I learned at the book shop I am working past half a month is that never get near to your customer. It has a deep meaning :

  1. He may get to know your secrets and may not return later on. So keep a comfortable distance. Such that you keep your self-worth.
  2. He may be judging you. So, try to prove wrong to your worth.
But, always keep the nearness to those who are worthy customers. For it adds value and self–worth to both.
Those who are worthy are always concentrated. And they stick to the point when they arrive at their service zone. While others just keep wandering around even when they arrive at their service zone. They are like silent workers behind the screen and an active one on the screen such that the whole world vanishes when they concentrate and the whole world vanishes focus on them when they speak, stand, walk, talk, anything related to them respectively. Such a high level of self-awareness they possess. And this produces masterwork. Art of the century, a master craft of the century is created then.
Fired from the job for the day for late coming. He blamed me that I have dis -managed their system. No mercy. No pity. No HRM. Discipline! At what cost? No care for talent loss. I think why most companies succeed is for their Employee engagement. Talent management, not use. I counter-strike that I fell ill and I was right. But, no pity from the boss.
