People have thoughts. That makes them move. That sets them to desire. That makes a work polluted with the material. And we lose the focus/goal. We do this self–less work because when a worldly man does a work he has images in his minds and intentions/desires. This guides the work and builds the vision. Which can be disastrous for the other vision divine. And create a path unknown and dangerous. Of which we can say to be illegal.
And what a satire of life is that we say the path to the almighty is unknown. A corruption was made, a plot was planted against the truth that truth is difficult. It is, to those who know not. But to those who know say that it is the direct realization, on the spot –a practical approach, that can be presented anywhere at any spot, at any moment.
But divine visions are aligned with each other. Selflessness binds together each one of us. Our work in this way aligns our vision to a grand vision, a grand goal of self –realization i.e., to see God in each aspect of life.
By selflessness, a worldly man aligns his mental channels to the divine and makes his various worldly thoughts and actions combine with the divine. Because selflessness is nothing more than a distiller that makes polluted water purified in its original, pure, unadulterated form. One can see the divine through it in every action and thought and even in a word or wordless (deed/silence).
Service make you get in return for work done. In selfless service on realises that the return is nothing else but the divine itself. Then, one gets released from the care of result and live in another plane of service where returns are governed by the real self and true work. The worker here consciously works and gets released from the chains of bondages of service.
Yes, few knows that serving is an art. Not all can do it, the same service that makes one nearer to freedom also can binds the man if done in wrong manner.
Free service is not the selfless service!
Neither it’s about creating a goodwill that makes you high. Rare is a true worker.
People think giving free langar and sewa in some religious or charity work in organisations is selfless work. Actually, people have never seen it or say realised the true selflessness within themselves, so they recognise not what a true selflessness is!
A true worker whether in a group or in a silent cave is always aligned with the divine.
It’s not like this that you serve someone and the person and situation became worse. It’s not that you served and became ill yourself.
Pure selflessness is an act of self realisation. That when you do it through your own self realisation and eventually it becomes a conscious effort and makes the one served and serving self realised. Its an act that makes one with the God!
Rare is such focus, understanding, guidance, work that makes people selfless!!
But, with the guidance of the perfect master of the time and individual efforts it becomes an easy job to achieve selflessness and stability.
Better than doing any one else’s work without conscious awareness it is better to sit idle and contemplate on the self.
Selfless service do nutmeat to go after some vague goal that you do not understand and idealise in your life. But, to realise every aspect of it and moving each step with a conscious awareness.
People around will comment for you are the player and they are the watchers. They have nothing to do and they don’t understand your ways. Once they get you they will be your followers.
Free service still means nothing until it opens the ways of self realisation.
Selfless service begins with the realisation of one’s true self and once one started doing conscious work, it would be like one is the creator of the universe or say they do what the God do or say they do God’s work or say whatever they do will be indestructible in spiritual realm for it is what has been done by God or say they alone will have the lasting impact and they alone know the destiny of their work and they alone can create an impact in the world around that knows not what is really going on the grand world cinema playground.
Once you know what is going on, you will know what to do next and you will be more aware consciously. This step by step process of knowing the self and finally the world and finding one’s standpoint on this is the art of self realisation. Finding one’s standpoint means finding the locus of control, for what Archimedes says – if I find one such locus, I will revolve the whole globe on my little finger!
But, a true selfless person has no such desire to make world rotate on the will, but to make a world more divine, selfless, and sharing the same gift of self realisation to all….
Then, along the way arise the question that who is the greatest servant, who is really selfless?
Though all appearing working, serving one way or the other as this is the world of the lord! But, rare is the one who is serving consciously and selflessly, whose every breathe is devoted to the welfare of others and have no thought of the self and ego?
Perfect of senses, not a single thought away or swerving from the path of self realisation, every act in perfect guide with the self!
“O man! Attaining the realisation of the self.
Living in the presence of the perfect master of the time.
Devote life to the selfless service of the master perfect of the time!”
True service is selfless service. It is not an act of one day or time bound; it’s a continuous behaviour. Once you start judging rather than contemplating you are out of the game of selflessness, you then cannot be a free man but one controlled by emotions….
Serving perfect master!
Many come and go. Serving a perfect master is not easy. Perfection do not come naturally to all. Finding perfect master is another art.
And, many think free service is selfless service. This notion is another illusion. Serving perfect master with selflessness is a rare act. Not all those who serve are selfless! Rare one reach the zenith of perfection.
Thoughts, desires, karmas, illusions, lack of clarity of the path often comes in the way of selfless service.
And, many out of weakness, known-unknown ways of karmas fell in the prey thinking free service is selfless service and build ego rather than divinity….
Serving perfect master under his will-full guide will ultimately build perfection in a normal man, but when performed real purity and selflessness the path becomes much easier and shorter…. Its like doing the home work before and escaping the wrath of a class room teacher and advancing in the new learnings and vistas of knowledge that the teacher wants students to learn…..
“Many people enter a pond and make ripples all around, few enter to calm down the raging storm….”
So, many people may appear serving the perfect master but few actually do the real service…. Not all… Many mistakes were made who perform without following the true discipline. So, rather do nothing rather than doing the wrong service, for its like for saving 100 rupee we wasted 1000 rupee…. Which was understood lately with self realisation…. Self realisation is all born out of service but under the guidance of perfection master of the time alone…. Otherwise, serving is harming, its like shooting the arrow in the air and now what it will do no one knows….
So, one must be conscious enough in doing the service of the perfect master of the time…..
“O Selfless one
O the rarely pure one
Where you are – O servants of all selfless ones
You are waited from aeons by the Gods
The real worker of the Almighty
The right hand of the Almighty
Where are you – the world is waiting for you – the God is waiting for you – the winds are waiting for your command to move at your Will?
The real representative of the divine perfection!
You are the real epitome of divinity on the land barren
It is you alone who made the barren land toil hard by your selfless work arisen from the deep caves of self realisation and turn to the golden sun of divinity just like paint on the unpainted wall or the colour in the colourless sky….”
When a perfect servant enters the court sth. that is a mess becomes orderly. Serving perfect master is the work of a perfect worker alone. No-one else can serve the greater cause but one who has expanded his consciousness with the infinite or say universal consciousness alone. He alone can see the truth who has closed his outer eyes to open the inner eyes and see beyond human consciousness and to the divine.
Everyone try to serve on own ways. But, a real one knows service is a discipline. All cannot serve but a few disciplined one alone can. Those who know the ethics of service alone can serve the master called perfect. Under the guidance of the perfect master alone one can learn the rules of the path and follow it without error. The orders of a master turns one to fit for the play that is going all around and go in it with ease and comfort.
Good will is not enough. It must be reflected through your behaviour.
